Sunday marks Veterans Day in the United States. CSU is doing its part to honor our heroes right here close to home.
Tiny American flags wave in the grass near the Lory Student Center. The 400 flags represent American soldiers killed war.
Thursday evening in the library, Veteran Services is hosting a reception for the Veteran Print Project (VPP).
Pieces of art from last year can be seen in this video above. Veterans from CSU get the opportunity to sit down with an artist and tell their story from their time in active duty.
The artist would then depict that story in a piece of art work. At the reception, veterans will be able to see the works of art that their stories created. The artists will also be on hand to talk about the pieces.
Below is a list of other Veteran Week events that CSU is putting on.
