Today is the eleventh anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks on the United States. CTV is asking you to tell your story about that day in 2011.

  1. I was on the school bus heading to school in sixth grade. I remember hearing on the radio that the world trade center was on fire. I was very confused because I didn’t realize we were under attack at that time. When I got to school I remember the teachers talking about what was happening and I felt angry and sad at the same time. On that day I knew I wanted to serve my country to prevent this event from ever happening again. 11 years later I am a second lieutenant in the Marine Corps trying to do my part to secure the country that I love.
