This weekend, there’s a chance for some healing before and after the nights of revelry –– holistic healing, that is.
Tomorrow and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the 11th annual Spring Holistic Fair will be held at the Aztlan Community Center, located east of North College Avenue.
During the fair, attendees will have the chance to take care of their body, mind, spirit and environment –– and yes, the event’s organizer knows what you may be thinking.
“When I organized the first successful ‘psychic fairs’ in Northern Colorado in 1982, it was considered very ‘out there’ and ‘woo-woo,’†said Carol Ostrom, the fair’s founder, on www.holistic-fairs.com.
“Who would have believed, a short time later, ‘psychic’ would become integrated into the mainstream through spirituality, alternative choices and holistic health?†she said.
At the fair, there will be tarot readings, aura portraits, astrology and palmistry, as well as healing massages, reflexology and aromatherapy.
Admission is $5 per day, $8 per weekend and free for children under 12. Bringing in a canned food item will take $1 off admission.
