The No. 1 seeded CSU volleyball team swept its way through the Mountain West Tournament, finishing the championship run off with a third sweep in three days against the University of Nevada-Las Vegas on Sunday.

The win gives the Rams (22-5) an automatic berth into the NCAA tournament. It marks the 17th consecutive season that CSU has made the tournament.

Katelyn Steffan was named tournament MVP while Dana Cranston and Brieon Paige were named to the all-tournament team. Izzy Gaulia was named the tournament’s top libero.

The Rams, who also won the MW regular-season title, have now won 16 conference titles.

CSU will play a non-conference match at New Mexico State on Saturday (12 p.m. MT) before learning a location and opponent for the NCAA tournament.
