President Obama was in Denver Tuesday, looking to gain support for the American Jobs Act bill. Obama spoke at Abraham Lincoln High School, one of the schools that the proposed bill would help improve.
The President made several calls to action, stating “pass the bill” after every point. The crowd cheered as Obama said “We’ve got to get [Washington] to stop worrying so much about their jobs and their careers, and start worrying about your jobs and your careers.”
The 20 minute speech attracted a crowd of nearly six thousand people.
This speech was the 7th, and final, campaign stop for President Obama in the last week.
