The Rams welcomed the Boise State Broncos into the Mountain West Conference by defeating them in straight sets on Saturday (25-13, 25-17, 25-20).
The Rams attacked at a .280 percentage in the first set before hitting .367 and .444 in the second and third sets respectively.
CSU was led by the play of Katelyn Steffan, who had 14 kills, 18.5 points, and 3 blocks, as well as Deedra Foss, who recorded 32 assists.
After dropping the first two sets, the Boise State Broncos managed to tie the set eleven times in the the third and final set, but the Rams eventually closed them out 25-20 on a kill by Megan Plourde.
