A holiday night with the UCA

Tonight at 7:30 p.m. the Holiday Gala concert will take place in the University Center for the Arts Griffin Concert Hall to kick off the holiday season.
The night will include performances of traditional secular and holiday music.
It will feature combinations of the CSU Choirs, the University Symphony Orchestra, the Faculty Brass Quintet, the Opera Theater, Jazz Combos, the Flute Choir, the Graduate String Quartet, the Wind Ensemble and other special guests.
The concert will also take place on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $7 for CSU students, $1 for ages 2 to 17 and $12 for adults.

Run/walk all the way to arthritis awareness this Saturday

The Arthritis Foundation will be raising funds, awareness and holiday cheer on Saturday at 10 a.m. with the Jingle Bell Run/Walk.
About 400 people will be on the CSU campus for the event that takes place on Oval Drive and the campus 5k route.
The event boasts more than 350,000 people from across the country that take place in this educational and healthy activity.
Registration opens at 8 a.m., the run begins at 10:15 a.m., and there will be expo area runs from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
