Police are on the lookout for Robert Gildea, who is accused of threatening an individual via text message. CSU sent out a safety alert at 5:35 p.m. Tuesday about the incident.

Some threats found contained references to the Morgan Library according to CSU Public Safety.

Gildea is not a CSU student and does not live on campus but often uses public transportation, the alert said.

“ The police got this information and found it serious enough that they wanted to alert the students as soon as possible,” said Brad Bohlander, a spokesman for the university.

It has not been reported yet exactly how many threats were allegedly issued by Gildea. He has an active warrant with Fort Collins Police Services, the alert noted.

Anyone who sees Gildea is advised not to approach him and to call CSU Police Department and call 911 as soon as possible.
