Rocky Mountain Showdown sold out
Tickets to cheer on the Rams from the student section during the Rocky Mountain Showdown are officially sold out.
But that doesn’t mean students should give up all hopes of attending. Suites and lower-bowl seats to upper-deck sideline tickets are still available to students, according to a press release from the Colorado State Athletic Department.
Lower-bowl seats are $65, upper-deck sideline are $55 and suites run at $165.
The Rams will take on arch nemesis CU-Boulder at Invesco Field in Denver on Sept. 4 at noon.

Local company named one of the fastest growing in nation
Inc. Magazine named Otterbox, a locally-based company that makes protective cases for electronics, one of the nation’s fastest growing companies, ranking it 359 out of 500.
Otterbox had revenue growth of more than 744 percent between 2006 and 2009, according to a press release. Founded in 1998, Otterbox’s original line of cases was a waterproof collection, similar to an otter’s fur.

School of Global Environmental Sustainability announces teams
CSU’s School of Global Environmental Sustainability, which is the overarching institution for all ‘green’ education and research, announced Tuesday two new Global Challenge Research Teams.
The Conservation Development Global Challenge Research Team will work to develop a plan that allows land conservation and sustainable development to work cohesively, according to a press release on the internal changes.
The Women Population and the Environment Global Challenge Research Team’s focus is on “emphasizing” the female role when analyzing obstacles that arise in a sustainable environment. The press release names climate change, health, migration and environmental justice as notable challenges.

Plaza Bazaar continues through Friday
More than 25 vendors have taken over the Lory Student Center Plaza and plan to camp out until Friday afternoon.
Students can stop by between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. to check out the following booths:
