Yays and Nays

Yay | to CSU club sports. With women’s lacrosse and baseball winning national championships in the last two months, club sports may be outshining varsity sports.

Nay | to summer classes. Nothing ruins a good road trip or bar outing like several hundred hours of reading.

Yay | to Boise State University joining the soon-to-be illustrious Mountain West Conference. Finally some competition, compared to that little league team from Laramie.

Nay | to crazy weather. Rain? Yes. Hail? OK. Tornados? Not fun, but been through that before. But snow? Really? Come on.

Yay | to PrideFest in Denver this weekend. They’re loud, they’re proud, and we’ll know it.

Nay | to the Timothy Masters case and imprisonment. Masters, who spent nearly a decade in prison before DNA testing cleared him, will, this time around, receive a $5.9 million settlement, which will not make up for time lost but is a step in the right direction.
