One day after announcing Quest Crew, season three winner of the MTV show “America’s Best Dance Crew,” wouldn’t be appearing on stage Friday at the Lory Student Center, Campus Activities announced today that yet another dance crew would not be in attendance.

Status Quo, ABDC season one runner-up, was dropped from the bill early Wednesday because of inclement weather.

Despite changing plans, CSU’s first dance crew event will still take place Friday at 7 p.m. in the Lory Student Center Theatre as originally planned.

Quest Crew will be replaced by the all-female, season four winners We Are Heroes, but no replacement for Status Quo has been announced.

Campus Activities, along side student government and CSU fraternity Phi Gamma Delta, will host the show dubbed Crewz Control.

The show will still feature CSU’s own Colorz Remade and several local crews: Colorado Dance Collective, The Studio and the Denver-based BreakEFX, who are participating in the current season of ABDC.

BreakEFX were also the winners of Colorado’s Best Dance Crew 2009.

L.J. Ankarlo, special events coordinator for Campus Activities, told the Collegian Tuesday that Quest Crew had to cancel at the last minute due to schedule conflicts.

Tickets are $7 for students and $10 for non-students. They can be purchased at the iBox box office located inside the LSC, online at http://csutix.com or by phone at (970) 491-4849.
