Yays and Nays

Yay | to CSU President Tony Frank trimming one position from the university’s administration. Kudos for avoiding cuts to academics.

Nay | to the reeling Denver Broncos, who’ve now lost three straight games after starting the season 6-0. The Rams losing virus is spreading faster than mono through a dorm full of horny freshmen.

Yay | to the CSU volleyball team for clinching the Mountain West Conference title this weekend. A winning team clad in green and gold? Just wait until they choke in the NCAA tournament.

Nay | to the Broncos getting demolished by the Baltimore Ravens. But on the bright side, they’ll probably lose worse next week to the Steelers and the Colts after that and so on and so forth.

Yay | to meeting local mixed martial artist Ian Stonehouse in a dark alley. The guy’s ferocious. But if you rub his tummy he’ll purr like a kitten. Just don’t let him get a hold of the catnip.

Nay | to weekend snowstorms. Clearly it’s supposed to snow during the week so skeezy stoners can ditch school to go snowboarding and collegiate journalists have a legitimate excuse to drink during the school week.
