Despite its loss to Utah on Saturday, the CSU football team picked up two new verbal commitments of the 2010 recruiting class in quarterback Tyler Shreve and wide receiver Josh “Jay” James.
Shreve, a 6-foot-4, 210 pound signal caller from East Valley High School in Redlands, Calif., is a 3-star prospect and ranked as the nation’s No. 24 pro-style quarterback. He is currently the highest rated player in the Rams 2010 recruiting class.
James, who stands at 6-foot-3, 211 pounds, and holds a 40 yard dash time of 4.5 seconds, is the younger brother of CSU freshman defensive end Christian “C.J.” James and is from Orlando, Fla.
The addition of Jay James to the Rams 2010 recruiting class makes two brothers who will be joining their older siblings in Fort Collins next year as CSU sophomore wide receiver T.J. Borcky’s younger brother, Bobby, has also committed to the green and gold.
