The CSU football team’s game at Idaho on Saturday, Oct. 3 will no longer be televised on Altitude 2 as the ESPN family of networks has picked up the game and will be showing it on ESPNU.
For the Rams, this will be the first regular season football game televised on an ESPN channel since CSU topped New Mexico 35-25 in front of a national audience on Oct. 28, 2005 – the game was televised on ESPN2. CSU’s New Mexico Bowl victory over Fresno State last season was televised on ESPN.
The kickoff at Idaho has also been moved from 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. DirecTV customers can view the game on channel 614. While Comcast does not carry ESPNU along the Front Range, a representative from the cable provider said Monday they would most likely show the game on Altitude, which is Comcast channel 25.
