Real Name: Zach Yeager

Q: Favorite music genres:

A: Indie, punk, dance, electronic and ’90s.

Q: Mission:

A: To take the awkward combination of anticipation, hope, angst and awesomeness that is normally only experienced during a high school prom and provide it to my listeners every Friday night. I like to play an even mix of hit songs from all genres and also try to cater to the unseen side of artists people already know and love. Lately Prom Night has taken on a life of its own and now features heavy dance and electronic elements.

Q Favorite artist or album of all time:

A: An indiscernible tie between Brand New – “Deja Entendu” and Modest Mouse – “The Moon and Antarctica.”

Q: What is your favorite part of your show?:

A: My radio show is the same time as the Lyle Allen’s from KRFC, and he sometimes prank calls me, putting me live on the air of his show while I’m hosting mine.

Q: Favorite music to study to:

A: Broken Social Scene’s self titled album is up-beat, melodic and has been helping me study all semester. Personally, though, I’m trying to catch swine flu to get out of finals.

Q: Plans for the future:

A: After graduating this summer I’ve got an internship lined up with Dexter Morgan at Miami Homicide. I’m very optimistic about learning the tools of the trade.
