Good luck, CSU students

For those of you that have been slacking and sleeping during class, finals week might be your chance to redeem yourself. And it’s the perfect time to start getting prepared.

With finals starting on Monday, take this weekend to get a lot of rest and brush up on your notes.

Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to study and go to the library. The library has extended hours for finals week and will be open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m., Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. and Monday through Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 2 a.m.

Healthy eating habits are also key. Make sure you get plenty to eat, starting with a good breakfast. If you don’t think you’ll have time, try to grab a bagel or granola bar in the Lory Student Center or the library.

Most importantly, make sure you know when your finals are.

If you need to, write out a schedule with the day, time and place of each of your finals. The last thing you need is to show up to an empty room and find out you missed your test.

Try to resist the urge to go out to the bars and parties. There’s nothing worse than being hung over during an exam, except maybe sleeping through it.

Now is the time to buckle down, CSU. Stay strong this weekend and next week. We know you’ll do great. Good luck.
