Ram fans, tonight is your chance to shine.
The mtn,, the television network that covers Rams football games, will be airing the CSU pep-rally from 7:30-8:30 p.m. tonight at Hughes Stadium.
Admission will be free and, as an extra incentive to come, Qdoba will be providing a free naked burrito bar to the first 100 fans that show up.
Speakers at the event will include basketball coaches Tim Miles and Jen Warden. Football players Kory Sperry and Klint Kubiak will also be guests at the event.
We at the Collegian would like to encourage any and all fans to go to the event to express your support for Ram athletics.
People across the nation will be watching, and they need to see that we’re not just some apathetic aggie school.
We owe it to our team to show good attendance. We’ve been letting them down this year.
Almost every game, fans have flocked from the stands at the first sign of trouble, and by the end of every home game, the stands are embarrassingly empty. The worst showing this year, of course, came during the rivalry game against Air Force.
Say what you want about our record this year, but last weekend the Rams regained some of their respect with a dominating victory over UNLV.
If we want them to continue winning, we need to show them that we have their back. So fans, go to Hughes tonight and show your support.
Oh, and while you’re at it, check out the game 3:30 p.m. Saturday against Utah.
