Parts of Foothills Mall Fort Collins were locked down Monday after police responded to reports of a possible suicidal gunman inside a nearby restaurant.
At 2:02, the owner of Casa De Los Amigos at 344 E. Foothills Parkway appeared agitated and was yelling at people, according to a release from Fort Collins Police Services. The suspect’s wife told police that he may be armed, but police found conflicting reports.
No hostages were involved in the incident, the release said. The building was surrounded, and the north doors of the mall were locked.
The subject voluntarily came out of the building and was placed in control at 2:51 p.m.
No charges have yet been filed.
