“Bronze Boot Run”

Students will be running from the stadium to the Wyoming border to hand off the Boot at 1 p.m. for Saturday’s football game.

Poet James Galvin will read his work as a part of the Writers on the Plain series.

Book drive

A book drive to benefit a library in Kapsowar, Kenya, is underway on campus through Dec. 15. Any new or used novels, reference or children’s books can be dropped into containers located at the Transit Center, the LSC Plaza entrance or at any sorority or fraternity house.

Leave No Trace Trainer Certificate

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The CSU Environmental Learning Center will sponsor a Leave No Trace trainer certificate course for anyone interested in teaching others about the principles of Leave No Trace. The $35 fee includes food, transportation and materials.

Ram Road Trip to Wyoming

10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

We will take four buses to Laramie for the Border War game with Wyoming. We will meet in the parking lot of Moby Area. Tickets for the bus will be $10, plus a $2 service charge. Tickets for the game can be bought online or at the Thurman “Fum” McGraw Athletic Center, and tickets for the bus can be bought at the campus box office in the LSC.

Northern Colorado Parents without Partners

1:30 p.m.

Harvest Corn Maze, Wellington

Single parents and their kids are invited to join Northern Colorado Parents Without Partners for a fun afternoon at the Harvest Farm Corn Maze. The group rate is $7 each; kids three and under are free. There’s something for every age, from toddlers through teens, on up to adults. Costumes are optional.
