Second Annual CSU Hunger Banquet

5:30 to 8 p.m.

Parmelee Dining Hall

Join us to learn more about world hunger and how to make a difference in the fight against poverty. Students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to join us for this event. The cost is only $6 or one meal card swipe for those with an on-campus meal plan. Tickets are available at Parmelee Dining Center or online http://www.international.colostate.edu. Proceeds from the $6 ticket go to Oxfam America, an international development relief agency committed to finding lasting solutions to poverty, hunger and social injustice. Learn techniques you can apply to help make your studying more efficient and affective. Topics covered include: time management, textbook reading, test taking, memory, note taking and more.

Come find out how to make the most of your money and to pick up some spending and saving tips.

Hip-Hop Dance Workshop

9:30 p.m.

Upstairs in the Student Recreation Center

Come learn to break dance, pop and lock and support hip-hop culture. If you want to bring underground hip-hop to CSU, come check us out. For more information, contact Erika Copeland at (928) 660-2407.

Cans for Entertainment

7 to 9 p.m.

Ramskeller, LSC

A fun-filled kick-off event for the Student Advocacy Committee as well as a fundraiser for Cans Around the Oval. Cans for Entertainment is a talent show with a variety of performers ready to put on a great show. Performances include music, magic and drag, so come and bring a friend and give back to the community.

Information sessions will be held for students interested in becoming student ambassadors. If you would like to volunteer to lead walking tours of campus, assist with visit days and college fairs and help prospective students in their college search process you may pick up an application at one of our four student ambassador information sessions.
