Not about to dwell on the tank tops and flip-flops from a season past, Cira is ushering in the new fall looks with style.

The downtown clothing store, located at 21 Old Town Square, will kick off the new season with a fashion show at 7 p.m. on Friday.

Cira named the first annual event, “Goddess: A Night of Fashion,” and set the location for Mystiq Ultra Lounge, at 23 Old Town Square #152.

“We’re excited about the event,” said Emily Shultz, event coordinator and CSU senior apparel and merchandising major. “It’s a great way to get our name out there and is something new and different for Fort Collins.”

The fashion show will include everything from airbrushed models and belly dancers, to music and foods, and will, of course, feature all the “must haves” for fall.

The show will be broken down into three sets, each with a theme: Casual, work/school and evening. Between the sets, entertainment will be provided by a variety of performers.

Everything seen at the show is available to purchase in the store.

Seating is limited and all ages are welcome. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased either at the door or ahead of time through Cira or Mystiq.
