Your article regarding Eric Eidsness’ run for Congress cites his so-called Republican credentials and how he is now disillusioned with the GOP.
But a glaring omission from your piece is the fact that Mr. Eidsness was Colorado state chairman of Republicans for John Kerry in 2004. So we effectively have a confused candidate: First, he’s a lifelong Republican. Then, he supports the liberal Democratic nominee for president. And now he plans to run for Congress on Ross Perot’s discredited Reform Party ticket.
Just exactly what does Eric Eidsness stand for? What are his political principles? It’s certainly confusing to this reader.
