Rep. Angie Paccione is defending a volunteer staffer who accidentally sent out unapproved campaign brochures that may land Paccione before the House Ethics Committee.

The brochure offered a second-place reward for a campaign team raising money for the legislator's bid to take over the 4th Congressional District in Congress.

The reward?

A day at the state Capitol and a formal introduction on the House floor. To at least 11 Republicans in Paccione's district, these actions are inappropriate and they have sent a complaint to the Capitol crying foul.

Calls made to the parties involved went unreturned.
