Basic Training for Volunteer Naturalists and Trail Hosts

Sign up now to become a Volunteer Naturalist. You will be provided training in geology, history, plants, animals and the workings of the Parks and Open Lands Department in a flexible time frame. You will then be able to share what you have learned by guiding hikes for the public, school groups, and senior groups, and by staffing a booth at festivals-such as the Corn Roast Festival and New West Fest.
