I am writing in response to a few articles you have written, the latest being Friday's article by Elena Ulyanova about freshman seminars.
Over and over again it is stated CSU doesn't have any mandatory freshman seminar classes in the curriculum. That is not true in all the colleges here on campus.
I know for a fact that the College of Agriculture has a mandatory freshman orientation class you must take or you will not graduate. The class is A-192 and is taught by a professor in the College of Ag. In that class you learn about true colors, how to manage your schedule, resumes and many other helpful resources. Not only are you learning a lot, but you also meet many people that are in your major and year.
The next time you make a statement about the university make sure you look into every college, including the College of Agriculture.
