The CSU Bookstore is giving 20 students up to $400 in required textbooks. The register number is drawn at random and whoever is purchasing their textbooks at the register wins.
The give-a-way started on Friday and will continue Monday through Wednesday.
The money for the give-a-way comes from funds given to CSU by Follett, a youth book company that the CSU Bookstore works with during book buy back, said Margaret Gearhart, assistant director of the CSU Bookstore .
"It's a way to thank the students that shop at the CSU bookstore," said Kris Folsom, marketing director of the Lory Student Center .
She also said it is a way to reinforce that the CSU bookstore is there and honoring CSU students.
