Several Rams will head to the Air Force Academy today to compete in the Don Barrett Open beginning at 5 p.m.

Competition will be light for CSU this weekend, with some Rams resting now that preparations for the Mountain West Conference Championships are in full swing. The change of pace will allow the team to fine-tune for the MWC Championships, which will be held Feb. 24-26 at the Air Force Academy.

The men's team is ranked No. 20, according to the Trackwire Top 25 Poll, and is sitting in the top seat in the MWC. The women, however, dropped out of the poll, which is based on the national individual rankings and the projected finish in the NCAA Championship.

Senior Josh Glaab was named the MWC Male Athlete of the Week after breaking the CSU and MWC record in the 5000 meters with a time of 14:02.59. With Glaab's award, CSU has brought home six consecutive weekly honors.
