Remember that kid in kindergarten who used to tell on you and your friends for stealing candy from the teacher? Well, that kid is all grown up now and he is still tattling.

However, this is no longer elementary school and the punk is no longer a 5-year-old. This time the allegations are real and Jose Canseco is doing more than causing a detention during recess.

In his new book, Jose Canseco lists names of players in Major League Baseball who are guilty of using illegal steroids to lift their games and their RBIs.

Canseco even claims to be the one who introduced many of his former colleagues to the drugs.

Among the names Canseco mentioned are all-stars such as Mark McGwire, Jason Giambi, Ivan Rodriguez, Rafael Palmeiro and Juan Gonzalez.

Canseco does not stop there. He takes it all the way to the top. Canseco claims President Bush, while a Texas Rangers team executive, knew about steroid usage by the players on his team.

Washed-up Canseco is obviously just trying to get people to buy his book and make money. He is just out for himself. Whether it is because he has not been inducted into the Hall of Fame yet or because he is just a complete jerk, he has stabbed his teammates and peers in their collective back. And all for a few extra dollars and a last fleeting shot in the limelight.

Your name used to be connected to sold-out stadiums, and now it is being used to sell out bookstands at the expense of America's favorite pastime.
