SuperPipe: A snow structure that consists of opposing radial transition walls of the same height and size. Used to catch air and perform tricks by traveling back and forth from wall to wall while moving down the pipe.

Slopestyle: A course that consists of jumps and rails that a rider must perform tricks on.

Fakie: Performing a trick backwards or landing backwards on a jump or rail.

Switch: Performing a trick in the opposite way in which it would regularly be done.

Cab: Any snowboarding spin combination that you do switch.

360: One rotation of the body.

Backside: When a turn or a trick is executed in a direction where the back of the body is facing downhill.

540: One and a half rotations of the body

Frontside: When a turn or a trick is executed in a direction where the front of the body is facing downhill.

720: Two rotations of the body.

Cork: A trick where the back shoulder is dropped, the knees are pulled into the chest and the athlete spins to his/her desired rotation.

900: Two and a half rotations of the body

Bio: A trick in which the shoulder is thrown forward, the knees are pulled into the chest and the athlete spins to his/her desired rotation.

1080: Three rotations of the body
