Loss, disappointment and grief workshop

If you are dealing with a loss, you might benefit from a chance

to talk with others who are grieving and learn ways to effectively

cope with and recover from loss. To sign up, call the University

Counseling Center at 491-6053.

Jewish Concept of the Afterlife

All are invited for a discussion led by Rabbi Larry Denmark on

the Jewish views of the afterlife.

Singing in Baghdad: Middle Eastern Musical Magic

7 to 9 p.m.

University Village Center, 1600 block of West Plum Street

Cameron and Kristina will play music and sing in Arabic. They

will share stories of their experiences in Egypt, Syria, Jordan,

the West Bank and Iraq. These performers were singing in the

streets of Baghdad just days after the invasion.

The Heart of Loss

7 to 9 p.m.

1605 W. Mulberry St.

Attend this six-week class and learn helpful techniques for

renewal through the process of grief. Activities include

relaxation, creativity, communication and movement.
