The newly formed CSU Alcohol Task Force is holding its first public forum meeting today at 3 p.m. in the Lory Student Center North Ballroom.
We know this issue is important to students due to the amount of feedback we have received. It is important to take all of those concerns to the task force.
If students have strong enough opinions about the task force and its decisions to write letters to the editor, they should go to the source to have their opinions heard. Complaining about decisions after that fact does not do any good. Getting involved ahead of time is the only way to change things. This forum is being held publicly for a reason and we encourage everyone to take advantage of this.
A major issue that will be addressed at the forum is the alcohol ban at Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium. We have received so much mail concerning this issue that it is obviously a widely held concern. How can we expect a change if we are not willing to spend the time to do something about it ourselves?
