Wyoming sheriff’s investigating missing student

The Albany County, Wyo. Sheriff’s Department has called off the
physical search for missing CSU doctoral student Daniel
Derezinski.
Detectives are currently conducting background checks and
gathering evidence on Derezinski’s disappearance, said Lt. Mike
Garcia of the Albany County Sheriff’s Department.
Derezinski’s car was found unlocked April 8 on a dirt road two
and a half miles off of Highway 287, the most direct route to from
Fort Collins to Laramie, Wyo.
Derezinski, 37, is a student in the sociology department working
on his doctorate in criminology.
