Of the many frustrations in coming to CSU, one of the most

annoying experiences is reading the Collegian.

An old example was when I was trying to dig out the meaning of

BYU after encountering the acronym in the Collegian. I took pains

in looking through any possible place where the meaning could be

found. It took me a year to know its meaning by actually having a

classmate who graduated from that university.

One most recent example is a photograph in the front page of

Tuesday’s issue entitled “Almost overnight”. The caption was

mentioning about somebody named

Moqtada al-Sadr. Where is he in the photograph anyway?

Obviously, I am not updated regarding current events, but am I not

suppose to get the information from reading this article in the

Collegian? What is the purpose of putting insufficient information

in a school paper anyway?
