Larimer County Sheriff’s Office arrested two suspects Sunday

morning in connection with a double-homicide that occurred late

Friday night at a home north of Fort Collins.

Edward J. Platzer and Mark J. Walker were arrested in connection

with the murder of Robert Hill, 54, and John Miller, 46.

“They’ve got a lot more investigating to do,” said Deputy Craig

Kern of the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office. “We think they knew

each other but we’re not sure.”

The victims were found in Hill’s home at 4108 Cherry Hills Dr.,

where Hill ran a small auto-body shop.

“Hill lived there, it was his place and his business,” Kern

said. “I think Miller was just a friend who stopped by.”

Autopsies concluded Sunday morning that the cause of death for

both was gunshot wounds. The sheriff’s office is gathering new

information and releasing it as it becomes available.

“We’re hoping to know a whole lot more by Monday afternoon,”

Kern said. “We may possibly release pictures on Wednesday.”
