EAGLES TRY FOR FIRST HOME WIN
The Colorado Eagles welcome their division-rivals the Oklahoma
City Blazers tonight at the Budweiser Events Center in their second
home game of the season.
Since their opening night loss against the Tulsa Oilers, the
Eagles (1-3-0) have been traveling by bus to Odessa, Texas,
Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Oct. 21 the Eagles won their first game in
franchise history by defeating the Odessa Jackalopes, 3-2. Ryan
Bach made 37 saves and Left Winger Ryan Tobler scored twice to
steal their first win.
On Friday the Eagles were in Oklahoma City facing the Blazers.
Despite defenseman Brad Williamson’s goal early in the second
period, the Eagles ended up losing1-4 after three unanswered goals
by the Blazers who boosted their record to 3-2-0.
The bright spot of the weekend was the naming of Tobler as one
of the three CHL Metal Blade Power Players of the week.
The Eagles encourage fans to come to the game in their most
creative Halloween costume to receive free chocolate from the Rocky
Mountain Chocolate Factory. The Eagles Chicks will also put on a
special performance before the game at 6:36 p.m. The puck drops at
7:05 p.m.
