Blame me… I voted for Bush
To the Editor:
I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to everyone for the war in Iraq. I cannot keep letting the American public and Hollywood’s elite to keep blaming President Bush. I am totally to blame; it’s time I took responsibility.
You see, back in the year of 2000, I voted for George Dubya. I even…I even wore a sticker to show my support for ol’ George. With the election being as crazy – and close – as it was, I feel my voting might have had something to do with him being elected.
But it doesn’t end there.
After the horrific events of September 11th, I showed even more support to our President. I even wrote him a letter, saying I was supporting him and thinking of him in those tragic times. I also asked him to do all he could to stop further terrorism and keep our country, and the world safe. That’s “Democracy” for you I guess. The foolhardy voice of this American, and maybe a few others, has started this horrible war.
So I am sorry…Earth…If I hadn’t voted for Bush and voiced my opinions, we wouldn’t be in this terrible mess.
I can only ask you not to protest Bush or America, but me, Brian. I am so ashamed.
