Six CSU undergraduates will have the chance to offer work demonstrating different sexuality issues in “Girl vs. Boy, Boy vs. Girl,” an art show opening at 8 p.m. tonight in the CSU Art Lounge Gallery.
The exhibit will “bring out negotiations, talk and conversation surrounding gender,” said Matt Smith, a junior art major and curator/director of the project. “This show has some risk involved.”
The independent artwork will discuss many aspects of sexuality, Smith said. There will be signs posted on the doors to the lounge to, “alert people to the fact there is adult content in the show,” he said.
All of the artwork will be posted unnamed, Smith said. He is hoping that this will help stimulate conversation.
“It’s all done for the sake of communication,” he said.
The show will run through March 31.
