CSU’s Campus Activities will host its first spring Centertainment today in the Main Ballroom in the Lory Student Center.

“It’s an informational event about student organizations on campus,” said Pam Sampson, assistant director for Campus Activities. “We had received a lot of feedback from students requesting to have Centertainment in spring.”

The event is held every fall in the Lory Student Center Plaza.

Students wanted to be able to find out about clubs and organizations in the spring, once they were already settled in on campus, Sampson said.

Centertainment will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Hot chocolate, apple cider and popcorn, as well as any goodies different organizations give out, will be available.

Jay Gregg, statistics graduate student and membership vice president for the National Co-Ed Community Service Fraternity, is excited to advertise at Centertainment.

“It’s a good way to get our name out,” Gregg said. “We’re just looking to meet new people.”
