The Associated Students of CSU Student Fee Review Board heard the Career Center’s fall presentation Tuesday.
The Career Center, located in Ammons Hall, has served CSU students and alumni since it became independent from the Counseling Center during the 1993-1994 academic year.
The center helps CSU students, primarily freshmen and sophomores, to choose a major based on their interests and career goals. It also helps graduates and current students to locate jobs and internships.
“We have strong relationships with employers” said Ann Malen, director of the Career Center.
In the past six years, the Internet has increasingly became a focus for the Career Center. The center’s web site, located at http://career.stuser.colostate.edu, has numerous career-related resources for CSU students.
