Hannah Geist Noland, a freshman at CSU, died Sunday from complications of asthma.

A memorial service will be held on Sept. 28 at 2 p.m. at Englewood High School, 3800 S. Logan St. Contributions may be made to the Colorado Humane Society.

Hannah, 18, volunteered at the Colorado Humane Society since 1996 and holds the record for the most volunteer hours, said Ann Noland, her aunt.

Hannah also acted, played French horn and sang in a choir, Ann said.

“She was unbelievably talented,” Ann said.

Hannah lived in Parmelee hall and graduated from Englewood High School last year.

Hannah is survived by her parents, Michael Noland and Cyndi Geist, her grandmother, Kate McDonald, and aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

“She’s going to be greatly missed,” Ann said, “but she left us with hundreds and hundreds of memories that are going to get us through the weeks and years.”
