Club sports looks to busy weekend
Baseball
The CSU club baseball team will travel to Colorado Springs on Saturday to face the Air Force Academy junior varsity squad. The CSU team is coming off a sweep of the University of Northern Colorado last weekend in which the Rams scored 33 total runs.
Lacrosse
Taking to the road again, the CSU club lacrosse team will battle three ranked opponents this weekend at the Michigan Invitational. Competition starts today for the Rams as they face the University of Michigan in the first game of the tournament and then play the University of Buffalo on Saturday and Texas A&M on Sunday.
The team is trying to rebound from two straight losses to Brigham Young and Colorado College. The defending national champion Rams are, however, still highly ranked in the Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Lacrosse League and the United States Lacrosse Intercollegiate Associates.
Ultimate Frisbee
After coming up short in last week’s Rocky Mountain Invitational, the CSU ultimate Frisbee team will participate in another tournament this weekend. The Hibida team will
travel to Lawrence, Kan. for the University
of Kansas Tournament. n
