The 55th annual Grammy Awards aired Sunday night on CBS, and boy, was the three hour telecast jam-packed with stunning celebrities, performances and photobombs! More importanly, the telecast revealed the artists whose hard work payed off in the form of a shiny, gold gramophone and the artists who need to work a little harder to bring home one of those coveted trophies next year.

One of the top stunners of the night was the Bajan beauty (dating the beast) Rihanna. She glowed from the moment she stepped onto the red carpet, debuting her red Alaia gown. The “Diamonds” singer may not have taken home any trophies from the night, but between her immense beauty and that unforgettable tribute to Bob Marely she took part of, RiRi still walked away as a winner.

Another pop starlet who lit up the stage was America’s first “Idol,” Kelly Clarkson. The talented singer nailed those high notes while performing her breath-taking tribute to singing legends Patty Page and Carole King. Clarkson then went on to make laughs on stage after accpeting her Grammy for “Best Pop Vocal Album” for her record “Stronger.” The “Since U Been Gone” singer also walked away with the greatest picture of the night, unintentionally, after she photobomed Ellen Degeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi.

Mumford & Son’s was the top winner of the night after scoring a Grammy for “Album of the Year.” The British folk band accepted the award from fellow Brit Adele, who took the same award home last year.

It wasn’t all about Mumford & Son’s though. Frank Ocean may not have taken home the award for “Album of the Year,” but that didn’t stop the singer from making waves. Ocean took home a Grammy for “Best Urban Contemporary Album” thanks to his critically acclaimed freshman effort “Channel Orange.”

But when there’s winners, there must be losers.

A couple fashion losers of the night were Katy Perry and Adele. Katy Perrmaid attended the show in a mint green Gucci gown complete with a boob window to give Ellen something to stare at. Adele may have won a Grammy with her live rendition of “Set Fire To The Rain,” but her outfit was a not a winning choice. The Valentio floral print dress reminded us of a certain drag nanny and didn’t seem to suit the new queen of music.

Carly Rae Jepsen however may have been the biggest loser of Grammy night. Despite achieving massive radio and chart success with her debut single “Call Me Maybe,” Jepsen failed to walk away with any trophies to validate her hugely successful past year. Hopefully someone called her to help the blow of the loss.

The Colorado State Men’s basketball team has officially been ranked as the No. 24 team in the nation by the AP and Coach’s Poll

The last time the rams received a national ranking came all the way back in 1954.

The ranking follows the Rams tough win at Nevada, winning by just 4 points.

To go along with their No. 24 ranking, the Rams basketball team also has the 15th best RPI in the nation, and as of today, the Rams are the No. 1 rebounding team in the nation, averaging 42.4 rebounds per game.

Now that the Rams are ranked, the matchup Wednesday against the San Diego State Aztecs, has become much more interesting. The Aztecs are ranked as well, two spots above the Rams at No. 22.

This means that this Wednesday will be the first game in Moby’s history to feature two ranked teams playing each other.

The game Wednesday is an Orange Out as well, and tickets are expected to sell out soon.

The game starts at 8PM MT this Wednesday.

Calling all Britney fans. The “Till The World Ends” singer is trading in her sunny Los Angeles lifestyle for the bright lights of Las Vegas. Named “The Holy Spearit” by fans, Spears will start performing at a yet-to-be reveled Vegas hotel to coincide with the release of her latest album due out fall of this year.

Rumors of Spears’ new gig went rampant after her puppy Hannah tweeted, “Mommy, are dogs allowed to gamble in Vegas? Gonna cash all my bones in for chips.” Extra TV then confirmed these rumors as fact, after speaking directly with Spears’ manager Larry Rudolph.

What Spears’ performance will look like on Vegas state is uncertain, but one this is for sure: Hannah Spears is the most influential canine since the Taco Bell chihuahua.

Britney isn’t the only pop starlet making headlines. Beyonce starred in the 47th Super Bowl Halftime performance on Sunday, marking the first Super Bowl performance for the singer. Beyonce exceeded expectations with her live singing and tight choreography, not to mention the fierce faces she made throughout the performance. The show was seen by roughly 109 million people, and also included a reunion of Beyonce’s 2000’s girl band “Destiny’s Child,” performing a medley classic hits.

Police responded to other drivers complaints of Helton’s Ford pickup driving erratically on Colorado Blvd.

Police found Helton at a gas station where they took him into custody for DUI and careless driving.

Helton was released to a “responsible party” according to police spokesperson Matt Barnes.

The Rockies released a statement regarding the arrest of Helton:

We were extremely disappointed to learn that Todd was arrested this morning. This type of behavior is taken very seriously by our organization. We know that he clearly understands the seriousness of his poor decision, the harm that could have been inflicted on others and the embarrassment his mistake has caused to himself, his family, the Colorado Rockies organization and to Major League Baseball.
