Realities for Children Charities is hosting their 15th annual Night Lights fundraiser. The event starts Saturday, December 1st at 6pm. The event is entirely free and will serve soup from Qdoba, hot chocolate, and other treats. There will be christmas music and a countdown to the lighting of the famous 50-foot tree on College and Myrtle.
The fundraiser raises money for victims of child abuse in Larimer County. The tree is sponsored by people donating money for a light on the tree. The tree has about 30,000 lights the year, the most it’s ever had. The proceeds go to helping these children and educating the community about the danger of child abuse. The Night Light Tree is estimated to help between 1500 and 1800 kids in the month of December and throughout the year. For more information, see www.giveanightlight.com or www.realitiesforchildren.com
