The first hour of the first presidential debate in Denver focused almost solely on economic issues.  Moderator Jim Lehrer has struggled to keep both candidates within their allotted times, but is unusually lenient on Mitt Romney and Barack Obama.  If you were watching close you may have even heard a shout out to Big Bird, who resides on Jim Lehrer’s home network PBS.

Now in the second hour of the debate the questions have moved from the economy to health-care and education.
