It is officially fall and that means the leaves are changing. If school has been too much to handle lately, going on a weekend adventure to see the leaves, now is a great time. One of the well known fall foliage stops in right around the corner in Estes Park. Each year around this time thousands of people flock to Estes to see the leaves change in Rocky Mountain National Park, Roosevelt National Forrest, or even just around town. The elk rut is also occurring now in which you can hear bugling elks. All of these sights are just an hour away from Fort Collins, but if you don’t have the time the leaves are changing right here as well.
