Coach Jim McElwain announced a whole new coaching staff last week. Two of the newest and controversial coaches are the new wide receivers coach Alvis Whitted and linebackers coach Tim Skipper.

After last years strength of the defense was the line backing core, Tim Sipper has some big shoes to fill. Skipper was coaching at Fresno State last year where he met coach McElwain. Skipper is going to be faced with replacing Mike Sisson.

Coming from the UCLA coaching staff this year is former NFL player Alvis Whitted. Alvis Whitted was drafted in the seventh round by the Jacksonville Jaguars and played in the league for another six years. Whited is relatively new to coaching and making the move to CSU will test his coaching abilities.
