CSU is hosting a figure skating competition for the first time this Sunday at 8 a.m. when the Rams take on the top Pacific Coast Region teams, including Colorado College, Denver University, UCLA and UC Berkley, at the EPIC Ice Arena.

The CSU Figure Skating team, formerly called the Synchronized Figure Skating team, is a coed, non-profit, student-run organization.

“This is an amazing opportunity to cheer on the skaters on their way to Nationals,” according to the event’s page on www.colostate.edu.

Official CSU Figure Skating t-shirts are $13, and orders can be placed to CSUskating@gmail.com. Volunteers are needed throughout the day for various tasks, and anyone interested can contact Vickie at vickiemstone@aol.com or Molly at molly.may.parsons@gmail.com.
