Roommate Roundup comes to Lory Student Center

Whether searching for a place to live or looking for someone to move in, interested students can fill their needs at today’s Roommate Roundup in the Lory Student Center’s room 208 at 5 p.m.

The event will be set-up up like a mixer, and participants will wear different color name tags dependent upon what they’re looking for –– green for those with a place to live and red for those seeking a place to live.

The Roundup is sponsored by Off-Campus Life, and event contact Brandi Sampson can be reached at (970) 491-2248.

Basketball game to offer free hot dogs

Tonight, as Rams basketball hopes to add to their seven-game winning streak, students will be offered a free hot dog with entry.

“I am asking that our students do all that they can to show up and support our basketball team. If they do, dinner is on me,” said Director of Athletics Jack Graham.

The game is free for students, and it begins at 8 p.m. in Moby Arena.

Learn to paint to landscapes of FoCo

Anyone looking to immortalize the town’s beautiful landscapes can learn the necessary skills tomorrow at 1 p.m. during “Sketching 101: Forms and Textures of Nature.”

The class takes place in the Evelyn Clark classroom at the Gardens on Spring Creek, and it is open to the entire Fort Collins community. Tomorrow marks the first day of a six-week class in which members can learn the basic techniques of shading, perspective, creating texture and line drawings with graphite pencils.

Novice sketchers are invited, and those interested can email jkroeger@fcgov.com.
