Fort Collins Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting on the corner of College Avenue and Myrtle Street.

After receiving a call at 2:06 p.m. with reports of a man with a gun in the area, officers were on the scene within minutes and shots were fired at 2:10 p.m., according to FCPD.

The suspect was taken to the hospital in an ambulance after the incident. No police officers or Fort Collins residents were injured, police said.

Traffic is down to one lane northbound on College Avenue.
