Hit and run spree in Fort Collins

A suspect believed to be involved in a crime spree was pursued by Fort Collins police yesterday afternoon.

The suspect is under investigation for have stolen a 2002 Ford F350 truck in downtown Loveland from the owner at gunpoint.

The suspect was involved at multiple hit and runs between Lemay Avenue and Shields Street.

Any other information about the suspect should be provided to the Loveland Police Department.

Former Ram playing in Masters

Martin Laird, a former CSU Ram, will compete in The Masters Golf Tournament at Augusta National golf course in Augusta, Ga.

Laird graduated with a business administration degree in 2004.

The Masters begins today and play will continue through Sunday.

Home invasion in Loveland

At Monroe Avenue on March 29, Sheriff’s deputies responded to the report of a home invasion and vehicle theft.

The suspect the invaders tied the homeowner, a 49-year-old man, to his bed stole several items including his car. The car was later found in a nearby landfill.
Investigators are examining what role he played in the crimes.
